If you have recently joined the iUniverse, you will have most likely already set up your new iTunes account. Your email address, your residential address and maybe your credit card if you like, and you’re all set.<\/p>\n

But…<\/p>\n

\nThis will only allow you to peruse the South African iTunes Store, which, let’s be honest, leaves much to be desired compared the major players’ stores around the world. Which is the biggest and best? No questions, it has to be the States. 
\n<\/a>What this means for you in the SA Store, is simply that all of the applications are most likely developed by local developers, and mostly pretty cool. However, they don’t hold a candle to the sheer variety and quantity  of apps available on the States’ App Store.<\/p>\n

\nThe good news is that most of our local developers have the foresight to place their apps on the US Store too, which means that you can dump your SA account and rely completely on your US one.<\/p>\n

Before I show you how to create the US iTunes account, here are some things your should know first:
