No.<br \/>\nDoes it add any value to your Mac? No.<br \/>\nDoes it do any harm to your Mac? making it faster and whatnot.<br \/>\nAnd any unassuming casual web surfer that comes across the various forms of its ads, wouldn\u2019t hesitate at all to install.<\/p>\n<p>The installation itself is perfectly normal, but once installed, users may experience a few different symptoms, including:<\/p>\n<p>Advertising banners forced on web pages that you are visiting.<br \/>\nRandom web page text is turned into hyperlinks.<br \/>\nBrowser popups appear which recommend fake updates or other software.<br \/>\nOther unwanted adware programs might get installed without the user\u2019s knowledge (Thanks to MacKeeper\u2019s very special affiliates program)<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/i1.wp.com\/www.appledomination.co.za\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/07\/mackeeper-popup.jpg\" rel=\"attachment \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>What do you do if you did indeed install MacKeeper?<\/p>\n<p>There is nothing wrong with simply deleting the app out of your applications folder.<br \/>\nOpen your Finder, Open Application in your sidebar to the left. Find MacKeeper, right-click and choose Move to Trash.
